The app shows a MAC address (looks like 00:1A:79:XX:XX:XX) on the welcome screen. Write it down.

  4. Send us the MAC address

Message us your MAC on WhatsApp. Our team will activate your subscription within minutes.

  5. Reboot the box

Channels load automatically on the next startup. EPG is included.

💡 Tip: Formuler users can also use the MYTVOnline built-in app with Xtream Codes credentials instead of a portal.

Enigma2 (Vu+, Octagon, Dreambox)

For advanced users · Setup time: 8 min

Enigma2 receivers require either an M3U bouquet upload via FTP/SSH or via the web interface. This is for users comfortable with Linux-based satellite receivers.

  1. Get your receiver's IP address

    Usually shown in Network Settings.

  2. Open the web interface

Go to http://[YOUR_RECEIVER_IP] in your browser.

  3. Upload bouquet file

Use BouquetEditor or upload our prepared bouquet file (we'll send it on request).

  4. Reload the receiver

Restart Enigma2 from the menu so the new bouquet appears.

  5. Find your channels

The Trex IPTV bouquet appears in your channel list, ready to play.

Troubleshooting

Common Trex IPTV setup issues

Most issues have simple fixes. If yours isn't here, message us on WhatsApp and we'll help live.

! Buffering or freezing

Cause: Slow internet or congested Wi-Fi.

Fix: Run a speed test. You need at least 10 Mbps for HD, 25 Mbps for 4K. Switch to wired Ethernet, or restart your router. Some ISPs throttle streaming — try a VPN.

! "Invalid credentials" error

Cause: Wrong username/password or expired subscription.

Fix: Double-check the credentials in your activation email (case-sensitive). Make sure your subscription is still active. Message us if it shows expired by mistake.

! Black screen or no video

Cause: Codec issue or app doesn't support the stream format.

Fix: Try a different IPTV app (e.g. switch from Smarters to TiviMate). Some channels use H.265/HEVC — make sure your device supports it.

! EPG (TV guide) not loading

Cause: EPG hasn't synced yet, or wrong setting.

Fix: Wait 5–10 minutes after first launch. In Smarters/TiviMate settings, force-refresh EPG. We provide EPG with every subscription — message us if it never loads.

! App says "Not authorized" on Smart TV

Cause: Your MAC address hasn't been activated yet, or the app needs a license.

Fix: Send us your MAC address on WhatsApp. We activate within minutes. Some apps (IBO Player) require a one-time $15 license paid to the app developer.

! Channels load but don't play

Cause: Region-blocked or temporary stream outage.

Fix: Try another channel — if everything else works, that channel is temporarily down. We monitor 24/7 and fix outages quickly.

FAQ

Trex IPTV setup — frequently asked questions

Which devices are compatible with Trex IPTV?
Trex IPTV works on Smart TVs (Samsung, LG, Android TV, Google TV), Amazon Firestick & Fire TV, Android phones & tablets, iPhone & iPad, Apple TV, Windows PC, Mac, MAG boxes, Formuler, Enigma2 receivers and any device that supports IPTV apps with M3U or Xtream Codes input.
Which IPTV app should I use?
Our top picks: IBO Player for Samsung/LG Smart TVs, IPTV Smarters Pro for iOS/Android/PC, TiviMate for Android TV/Firestick. All three work with Trex IPTV credentials. See the device guides above for the right one for you.
What's the difference between M3U URL and Xtream Codes?
Both formats give you the same Trex IPTV channels — they're just two ways to deliver the playlist. M3U is a single URL you paste into the player. Xtream Codes uses three values (host, username, password). Most modern apps prefer Xtream because it loads faster and supports VOD better. We send both with every subscription, so use whichever your app supports.
Why is my IPTV stream buffering?
Buffering is almost always due to a slow internet connection or congested Wi-Fi. Trex IPTV requires 10 Mbps minimum for HD and 25 Mbps for 4K. Try connecting via Ethernet, restarting your router, lowering stream quality, or using a VPN if your ISP throttles streaming traffic. Run a speed test first to rule out slow internet.
How long does Trex IPTV setup take?
Setup typically takes 3–5 minutes on phones/tablets and 5–8 minutes on Smart TVs. The longest part is downloading and installing the IPTV app. Once that's done, adding your credentials and loading channels is under 60 seconds. Our 24/7 support team can help you set up live on WhatsApp if you get stuck.
Do I need a VPN to use Trex IPTV?
A VPN is not required for Trex IPTV to work — our service streams perfectly without one. Some users prefer using a VPN for privacy or to bypass ISP throttling that affects streaming speeds. If you choose to use a VPN, make sure it doesn't conflict with your IPTV app's region settings.
Can I use Trex IPTV on multiple devices at once?
Yes — depending on your plan. The 1 Month and 3 Months plans support 1 simultaneous connection, the 6 Months plan supports up to 2, and the 12 Months plan supports up to 3 simultaneous streams. You can install the app on as many devices as you want — only the number of active simultaneous streams is limited.
